I booked a newborn photo session for my daughter with Hunt Photography. We communicated via email until the day of the shoot. Booking and payment was easy, all transactions were done online. On the day of the shoot, I was late because I couldn’t find the place. When I called her, she came out of the building and welcomed us with a big warm smile. Our photographer was professional, creative, and efficient.
She replied to my initial inquiry very quickly and followed up on subsequent correspondence in the same manner. I received photos shortly after the session. She shoots in a studio – this allows her to play with different styles and lighting easily. The photos looked great – high quality, clean, and not over-styled. I can only speak to her work with newborns – which was excellent – but imagine she would work just as well with other subjects. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional photographer with the ability to capture beautiful photos!

Our newborn shoot was scheduled a week ago with Hunt Photography. I booked them a few weeks before my son was delivered since he arrived past the due date. We couldn’t be more pleased with the images from our newborn shoot.
Our photographer was very warm and welcoming. She was phenomenal with our 5 year old daughter from giving her prep talks to posing with her baby brother. At one point, our son became very fussy. She gave him the bottle and soothe and sway him back to sleep. I also loved her style of natural photography working with the natural lights and backdrop. This allows her to work her magic with the different outfits and props on our newborn son. It was hard to pinpoint which edited images to select since we loved all of the images from our session. The entire session took approximately 2 1/2 hours. However, it may vary from each session depending on the nature of the photo shoot. Some parents might want more elaborate and specific poses while others might be more carefree with the session. It all really depends on what you’re looking for.
We had a very easy-going and relaxed session. Once we were done with the family and individual portraits, Natasha direct us to refreshments and snacks so we could wait in the studio. She also told our daughter to play in the toy area. It definitely helped with the waiting period since it distracted her from getting impatient. Overall, we had a great experience working with Hunt Photography. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed as her work really speaks for itself! Thanks to her work, we now have an amazing family portrait of the four of us! 🙂

Having Hunt Photography taking our newborn’s photos was amazing. First of all, they accepted our baby when he was 3 weeks old, which is older than most photographers like. She also was extremely flexible with her schedule which was great for us as new parents. Their studio is very neat and welcoming.
Once we were there, she was a wiz with the baby. She handled and cared for him like a baby guru. She was able to get all the cute shots that we wanted and had a multitude of sashes and set-ups for very creative and adorable photos.
Their prices are the best in Sydney and the quality of pictures is amazing! She has so many props in all styles and colours that it was hard to decide on which ones I wanted! We would definitely recommend them to our friends and would go back for future photos.
